DailyCountry ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed by Kedicode. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. This is used to identify your account and sync your progress across devices.

Usage Data. We store which countries you have studied, your favorites, saved facts, and learning streaks. This data is synced to our cloud service (Supabase) when you are signed in.

Subscription Data. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Device Data. We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics such as app version and device type to improve the App. We do not collect precise location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers that help us operate the App:

• Supabase — cloud database and authentication
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Google Sign-In — authentication
• NewsAPI — country news (no personal data shared)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Local data is stored on your device using SwiftData. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your progress at any time from the Settings screen. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can also reset your progress or sign out at any time within the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
